The older I get, the more I find myself wanting to learn. Not like, go back to school and get a degree learn. I’m not a masochist. Learning at 44 feels more like discovery zone than study hall. Like a child in a hands-on exhibit, I want delve deeper into the things that interest me. I may walk right by a display on mathematics, but sit down to tinker with a Bible study or a writing prompt. I’m discovering more about God as I go deeper with my friends and my family.

Lauren, I too love to learn. I enjoyed your line, about learning as we get older can become more like a discovery zone. This reminded me of the spontaneous joy and enthusiasm of a young child as they learn and discover the world around them.
