“Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:10 NASB 1995
I wish I could honestly agree with Paul here when he says he’s content with all these terrible things. That would be a lie. But when the apostle says he is weak, I can relate. I often feel inadequate, ill-equipped and powerless. But according to scripture, that is just where I need to be for God to use me. As Marshawn Evans Daniels says, “God’s muscle is far better than manpower.”
In Prayers to Share: 100 Pass-Along Notes for Believing Bigger, Daniels reminds us that “The Lord is the source of [our] strength and the force that enables [us] to grown. So today I’m praying 2 Corinthians 12:10 for every one of us that needs God’s mighty hand. His strength is perfect.
I’m praying for you in this. Don’t forget to share on social media or with a friend who could benefit. It would mean so much to me.
