Learning to Be Persistent in Prayer

I want to be as persistent in writing as God is teaching me to bein prayer. So post is coming at you a little later this week due to a several-day excursion to Spokane, Washington for my daughter’s volleyball tournament. But I haven’t stopped writing. Rest and Refreshment in the Lord
“Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” Hosea 6:3 NIV
A month ago, my preacher taught on the importance of rest and refreshment. I paid attention and took notes observing the Sabbath. I even jotted down a reference to a story he told about a bird named chippy. To save my life I can not remember what that story was. The sermon didn’t really resonate with me, but I’m so glad I recorded the scripture references to go back to because it resonates in a major way with me now. Continue Reading
