Today’s date on the calendar sits between National Proofreading Day and International Day of Awesomeness. So I will try to correct my spelling and grammar and make this post awesome! Let’s dive into Hebrews 11:1 – and maybe a little more.
The 11th chapter of Hebrews is often referred to as The Roll Call of the Faithful. A better description is this: An exhortation to faith to us using Old Testament Examples. Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Rahab and many others live in the words of these verses. The author, believed to be Paul, recounted their acts of faith as examples for all of us who come after.
Verse 1 of the chapter gives us an informal definition of faith.
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1 NIV
I pray primarily for an increase of faith for my loved one – before prosperity, happiness or any other kind of success. Here is my prayer:

Praying for you in this. And don’t forget to share on social media or with a friend who could benefit. It would mean so much to me. And if you don’t want to miss a Praying God’s Word Wednesday, subscribe over on the right hand side of this page.
