We’ve rolled around to Wednesday again, and I’m so glad to be able to pray God’s Word with you.
Truth is getting harder and harder to find in a world where opinions seem interchangeable with facts. I pray daily, for my children especially, to be able to discern, know and obey truth. God lead me to Psalm 51:6 today.
Behold, you desire truth in the innermost being, and in the hidden part you will make me know wisdom. NASB
In the passage, David speaks to God of what he knows of God’s character. The Bible commentary I consulted stated that God’s desire for truth mirrors His hatred of sin. So I prayed:
Replace the pronouns with the appropriate ones for the person (or yourself) that you are praying for.
If you are reading this, I am praying for you. And don’t forget to share this on social media or with a friend who could benefit. It would mean so much to me. If you don’t want to miss a Praying God’s Word Wednesday, subscribe over on the right hand side of this page.

Wow, Lauren–your Tweet really captured me today. Opinion does seem interchangeable with fact and then, I read His word. Thank you, Lord, for showing us your truth.
And, thank you, Lauren for these Wednesday prayers.

That is a very powerful and important prayer, Lauren! There is so much misinformation in the world and opinions masked as truth that it is difficult to discern the lines between. Thanks for sharing and linking with me.

It truly is frightening the things and people that try to sell themselves as experts and truth.
