A few weeks ago I texted this scripture to some friends:
“Lord, what are human beings that you care for them, mere mortals that you think of them?” Psalms 144:3
My friend Cindy replied: “This verse never fails to put my mind and heart in awe that the Master Creator of the universe calls me and you by name and loves me like no one else does (in spite of knowing me like no one else does). Thanks for the reminder. It does get lost in the distractions of this world.”
My intent was to bless my friend. But she blessed me and encouraged me by sharing the awe and esteem in which she holds our Heavenly Father.
Replace the name and pronouns with the appropriate ones for the person (or yourself) that you are praying for.
Praying for you in this. And don’t forget to share this on social media or with a friend who could benefit. It would mean so much to me. And if you don’t want to miss a Praying God’s Word Wednesday, subscribe over on the right hand side of this page.

Oh, Amen and Amen. What a precious way to bless others. I have just the person in mind to pray this for her!
I’m so grateful you are praying with me, Linda.
Yes, Lauren, when I think of how God cares for us, I never fail to be amazed. Praying this prayer right now for several of my friends and family. Thank you and blessings to you.
Thank you so much for praying with me, Carlie.

Hey Lauren, this is a great verse to insert someone’s name in and pray God’s Word over them.
“God of all creation, remind Lauren how precious she is to you. Help her to remember you watch over her, care for her heart, and think about her as her loving and good heavenly Father. In the name of Jesus, Amen.”
Thank you for praying for me, Karen. I really appreciate it!
