Social distancing guidelines save me money. No restaurants to go to, no stores to frequent = savings! Which bodes well after 2 part time jobs placed me on hold. The longer this drags on, though, the more I find myself online shopping. Especially Amazon, ’cause Prime, baby!
I can’t think of a kinder thing to do than sharing my quarantine acquisitions with you in case you need a little (almost) instant gratification.

For Me
A high-protein, low-calorie snack with a cheesy, salty crunch. Yes, please.
I got industrious and cleaned out my car. These things helped spruce it up.
‘Cause hot flashes.
I am so over shaving cream and love how this feels and smells.
Since I’ll probably be working out at home for the foreseeable future. The 8s I ordered don’t appear to be available right now, but they have other sizes.
My phone went to electronics heaven so I needed to “outfit” my new one.
And finally, for a little summer spring in my step. My old lady feet protest any sandal but Yellow Box these days.

And now for this week’s featured post!
How to Waste Your Time by Laurie Hess of Meditations in Motion hit the spot for me this week. Not only because I speak yoga, but because I have concluded that I don’t ever truly rest. I stink at sabbathing and I want to do better. I NEED to do better for my mental and physical health. Even when I’m watching TV, I’m doing something. Multitasking. Laurie reminded me that my worth does not come from productivity and that being still is a command of God! And she gives some serene sounding ideas to help you chill out. Thanks, Laurie!

Checking out those shoes right now! I need some comfy (did I say comfy!) sandals. Thanks for hosting, Lauren. Just read your last post with all you “I cannot’s” too. Thank God for His grace!

Wow, paint by number has come a long way since I used to do them as a 12 year old. None of them were that vibrant then. I will have to check out those snacks. I like something salty mid-afternoon and kettle chips probably aren’t the best.
Lauren says
Me too. I always seem to crave salty.
Boma says
Thanks for sharing, Lauren. I ain’t doing it sounds like the kind of boo I want to read just now! Many blessings to you!
Lauren says
I give it two giant belly laughs!
Laurie says
Thank you for the shout-out, Lauren! And thanks for the good book recommendations. My biggest fear is that I will run out of things to read.
Lauren says
My pleasure. I have an incredibly long list of things to read so I’m not afraid of running out, but I am afraid of not having anything to read on me when I have a little extra time! Ha!
Maree dee says
I love what you purchased. I could use a good laugh. Maree
Lauren says
That that books is just what the doctor ordered. Saying a prayer for you today to find that belly laugh.
Shelbee on the Edge says
Lots of great things, Lauren! I am going to look into these books, for sure. I have not been shopping much but still have not managed to save any money during quarantine! I think it’s because my kids are eating about 10 times more than normal and my grocery bill quadrupled! Thanks for sharing and linking up.
