Still need to buy a few gifts? Or just getting started on your list? Here are some things I have purchased from Amazon (Are you using them right now as much as I am?) for your consideration. I can’t list everything I’ve purchased for gifts here because it could give away a surprise, but I hope you find some things from the ones I can divulge! Just click on the picture of the item to go straight to a page to order. And as a reminder, I get a small commision to help pay for my blog expenses on anything purchased by clicking my links. Thank you in advance!

And now for this week’s featured post!
Bev Rihtarchik of Walking Well with God touched on something this week that I’ve been thinking about a lot these last few years. Longing for heaven used to be the theme of many old hymns and praise songs. We don’t sing or talk about it much anymore. I came to the conclusion that we have all worked so hard to make ourselves comfortable here that we usually have to do some intense suffering to want to leave this earth to be with Jesus. I recently said such a thing and one of my friends was worried that I was depressed. Maybe a little, but mostly I just know how much better it will be there with Him. This year some of us may be feeling this more than ever. Read Heaven’s Looking Better and Better with Each Passing Day and see what you think.

I’d be lost without Amazon, Lauren! There are few stores in my neck of the woods and I don’t have the patience or energy to invest in running around, especially during Advent season when I aim to live out peace and quiet.

I like this perspective, Linda.
