Our Friend brought me to this verse today:
The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.
Proverbs 11:25 NLT
My prayer:
Replace the pronouns with the appropriate ones for the person (or yourself) that you are praying for.
Praying for you in this. And don’t forget to share this on social media or with a friend who could benefit. It would mean so much to me. And if you don’t want to miss a Praying God’s Word Wednesday, subscribe over on the right hand side of this page.

Lauren, what a great verse! My husband is one of the most generous people I know. I’m praying this for him and for my sons and me, so we can become better at recognizing opportunities.

I’m not sure what happened, but when I commented earlier, it said it was a duplicate. . . .
Anyway, this is such a great verse to pray about our heart attitudes. My husband has taught me much about generosity. I’m praying for him but also for my boys and me to grow in being generous.
Lauren says
How generous of God to give you a generous husband! Thank you for praying with me.
Niki says
Such a great verse! It’s backed up by Jesus telling us that is more blessed to give than to receive, and I have found that to be so true! Thanks for this prayer and for sharing on Traffic Jam Weekend!
Lauren says
It is, isn’t it? Thanks so much, Niki.
Suzette K. says
This verse is such a great reminder to love our neighbor and put others before ourselves. By doing so, we will be refreshed in Christ. It’s lovely to contemplate.
Lauren says
It is isn’t it, Suzette. Thank you.
