A few weeks ago I texted this scripture to some friends:
“Lord, what are human beings that you care for them, mere mortals that you think of them?” Psalms 144:3
My friend Cindy replied: “This verse never fails to put my mind and heart in awe that the Master Creator of the universe calls me and you by name and loves me like no one else does (in spite of knowing me like no one else does). Thanks for the reminder. It does get lost in the distractions of this world.”
I pray for her:
Replace the name and pronouns with the appropriate ones for the person (or yourself) that you are praying for.
Praying for you in this. And don’t forget to share this on social media or with a friend who could benefit. It would mean so much to me. And if you don’t want to miss a Praying God’s Word Wednesday, subscribe over on the right hand side of this page.

Hey Lauren, this is a great verse to insert someone’s name in and pray God’s Word over them.
“God of all creation, remind Lauren how precious she is to you. Help her to remember you watch over her, care for her heart, and think about her as her loving and good heavenly Father. In the name of Jesus, Amen.”
Lauren says
Thank you for praying for me, Karen. I really appreciate it!
