Yesterday was National Letter Writing Day. Here we continue our love note to our Heavenly Father with our focus on Advent and praying Glory to God in the Highest! And we turn our attention to the Christmas story as told in the book of Matthew.
In Chapter 2, the Magi – or Wise Men – hear about the birth of the King of Kings and set off to find Him by following the star in the east. They wished to worship Him, as we do.
“When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.” Matthew 2:10 NASB
These men rejoiced when they saw the star, but fell to the ground and worshiped when they saw Jesus. Then they presented Him with priceless gifts, which inspire us to give gifts to each other in honor of Jesus’ birth.

Lauren, may the significance of Christmas fall hard and fresh upon us causing us to fall to our knees in simple worship before our Lord. It is in His Presence that we will be filled with deep joy and hope. Blessings!
Lauren says
Amen, Joanne.

He is the God who sees you and me; the healer of the broken places, the writer of our stories – our kinsman redeemer, a protector who takes care of what is His! How I would have loved to have heard the angels sing that night so long ago! Shalom, friend! ~ Maryleigh
